Laser hair removal equipment, and the entire laser hair removal industry, has been built around the treatment of cis women. This is fine for them, but not great for us.

The hair on the face and body of someone born with male anatomy is more dense, coarse, and deeply rooted than hair anywhere on a cis woman’s body. Because of this, entirely different energy settings, or treatment parameters, are needed to effectively eliminate this hair. At Bluebird we have spent the last five years developing these new parameters.

The results are, for almost all of our trans femme and non-binary clients, we are able to permanently remove over 90% of their treatable facial hair in 8-10 sessions, and treatable body hair even faster, typically in 6-8 sessions.
